About

I am an Army veteran that was born and raised in a small town near Atlanta, GA. I grew up playing organized sports and learned early in life that hard work and dedication are necessary for success. Following high school, I delayed attending college to enlist in the US Army because of a need to serve my country following the events of 9/11. I eventually earned my way into the US Special Forces and served two tours in Iraq as a member of the Green Berets.

After five years of military service, I returned to college where I graduated from Georgetown University and made the D.C. metropolitan area my home. I have gained a wide variety of private sector business experience to include managing the overseas operations of a $100 million defense contract, non-profit program management, and management consulting for McKinsey & Co. During this period, I earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and discovered a desire to own and operate a small business.

I have worked in harsh environments, including Iraq and Afghanistan, and have endured some of our military’s most grueling training. This experience has prepared me to solve difficult operational and management problems with limited time and resources. I always look forward to rolling up my sleeves, digging into an issue, and implementing sustainable solutions.

My interests outside of work include climbing, running, and hiking with my Labrador Retriever, Trigger.
